New Zealand

Internationally, New Zealand is seen as an inspirational vanguard in the world of natural healing, and recognised globally as having some of the world’s most respected natural healers, most innovative natural health manufacturers and a unique physical landscape and culture that embraces mind/body thinking; free from the strictures of much of the rest of the world.

Even 10 years ago, New Zealand studies showed 74% of households used natural health products – and that was long before the new millennium boom in all things green, natural and chemical free.

New Zealand is an “Eden-like” country with spectacular landscapes; vast mountain ranges, steaming volcanoes, sweeping coastlines, deeply indented fiords and lush rainforests. These landscapes are so special they have been internationally recognised by UNESCO as irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration. More than ten percent of New Zealand carries World Heritage status.

There are no genetically modified (GM) crops or other products in New Zealand for commercial production.

New Zealand is a nuclear-free zone, this is not symbolic but enshrined in the nation's legislation. New Zealand was the first Western-allied nation to legislate towards a nuclear free zone, effectively renouncing the nuclear deterrent.

New Zealand is the youngest country on earth - the last major landmass to be discovered. It has a rich and fascinating history, reflecting both our Maori and European heritage. Comparable in size to Great Britain, Colorado or Japan, New Zealand has a population of only 4 million - making it one of the world's least crowded countries.

Though a diverse and multicultural people, there are many qualities, including friendliness, individuality, invention and self-reliance that you will find in most New Zealanders.

Auckland 'The City of Sails'

Auckland is New Zealand's largest and most cosmopolitan city, home to 1.3 million people. It is vibrant, blending European, South Pacific and Asian cultures with an indigenous Maori heritage.

Auckland’s abundant natural beauty is diverse; from the islands of the Hauraki Gulf to the pohutukawa-lined golden shores of the Pacific to the black sands of the Tasman sea. Ancient rainforests cover the Waitakere Ranges, and the cones of the city’s 48 dormant volcanoes provide unique city parks. Sparkling waters surround the isthmas upon which Auckland has grown providing a playground for sailing, parasailing, surfing, fishing, dolphin and whale watching.

Auckland is blessed with a sunny climate with average daytime temperatures ranging between 14C and 24C.

The business district, Sky Tower, museums, art galleries, Viaduct Harbour (base of the America's Cup), fabulous shops, movie theatres, performing arts venues, world class restaurants, cafés and bars are all to be found in central Auckland.

All of this goes to earn Auckland a lifestyle that is ranked amongst the highest in the world.
