Kawai Purapura Retreat - Life with Meaning Labour Weekend
Posted: Friday 23th October 2009
We experience a world of astonishing variety and complexity - inconceivable multitudes of appearances, feelings, thoughts and inclinations interact and affect each other. In a search for meaning and purpose, it is easy to be confused or lost yet the search remains constant within each one of us.
What qualities and activities make life meaningful?
Is there a method to discover an authentic answer to that question?
Is there anyone who can help us in our search and how would we recognise such a person?
In the convenient yet secluded community retreat of
Kawai Purapura - Albany, Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche of Ju Mohor Monastery of Tibet. a friendly and understanding teacher of Tibetan Buddhism, will lead you on an honest and down to earth exploration of these deep questions
Thoroughly trained and deeply committed to a life of compassionate action, Rinpoche enjoys working with people of all persuasions whether religious, atheist, humanist or heretic!

Dana for Rinpoche:
The teaching is offered on a donation basis. Dana is often translated as generosity. It is an expression of gratitude. Rinpoche appreciates that some people can afford more, others less. So that money is not a barrier to receiving teachings, it is left to each person attending the course to deeply consider the value of the teaching. They can then make an offering that sincerely reflects that value whilst at the same time gives due consideration to what is possible within their financial situation. Please give as generously as you can.
