Battle Bone Density, Arthritis, and Sports Injuries Using Yoga - Open Evening June 16

Posted: Thursday 16th June 2011

Recent research has indicated that long-term yoga participants have significantly gained bone density, which can be attributed to the effects of muscles working against gravity.

“Yoga pits one group of muscles against another, exerting many times the force of gravity” experts have said. “That increases the stress on bones, and the bones react by thickening.”

Wellpark College is offering a free Seminar and Open Evening - where you’ll learn just how easy it is to integrate yoga techniques and physical postures (asanas) into your life to combat ageing, injury and degenerative conditions such as arthritis.
