Bachelor of Naturopathy, NZQA Approved

From 2010, Wellpark College is proud to offer New Zealands first Degree in Naturopathy. In the first two years of study you will gain an extensive knowledge in a variety of health sciences including anatomy and physiology, chemistry, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology and diagnosis.

A wide range of natural therapies are studied in-depth including nutrition, herbal medicine, massage and aromatherapy, all from a sound research base.

You are trained in the use of live blood analysis and other assessment and diagnostic tools and in your last year, all of your learning is brought together in the safe environs of the Prema Clinic where you conduct supervised one-to-one sessions with clients.

Part of your professional development includes a course in Managing a Complementary Therapies Practice.

Graduates may choose to obtain a Diploma in Herbal Medicine and/or Nutrition by sitting additional papers at the end of their Bachelor programme.
