This programme consists of 4 compulsory papers.A bridging programme may need to be undertaken by some students.
This is a modern body therapy programme that provides skills and knowledge to aid athletes and sports enthusiasts who have sustained injuries or are seeking to enhance their performance.
The course provides a foundation of current, evidence based principles underpinning the preparation for, participation in and recovery from sport and exercise. Study encompasses both theoretical and practical aspects of exercise and rehabilitation.
A sports and rehabilitation therapist will be versatile in their ability to use targeted manual therapy as well as remedial exercise as a means of injury prevention, treatment and management assisting athletes to reach their maximum potential.
