- Level 7, 60 Credits
- Part time within 2 consecutive academic years
- Commences February
Craniosacral therapy recognises the fundamental unity of all structural, physiological, psychological and energetic processes within the human being. By gentle touch, listening with the hands, perception on all levels and a willingness to open into stillness, the therapist can gain insight into the core issues that create dysfunction and interfere with the path to wholeness.
The subtle rhythms that govern the body can be accessed through a number of methods and the student is given pathways to this exploration.
You will discover the underlying basis of the cranial concept, gain an insight into the fascial and cranial aspects of craniosacral therapy, perception and sense, fluid and membranes, dynamics of stillness, in addition to the anatomical, physiological and energetic basis of craniosacral theory.
Entry into the programme is suitable for qualified massage and body therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and other health professionals.
The entrant will have a strong background in body therapies and the palpatory and perceptual skills that develop with this, as well as a good anatomical understanding.
