The first semester follows the Certificate programme.
In the second and third semesters you will learn about the working of the body's systems in physiology and gain an understanding of physical conditions, causation, symptoms and the effect on the body as well as treatment approaches for a wide range of musculoskeletal problems.
Studies in joint mobilisation to ease tension and achieve postural changes and specialised therapies including lymphatic drainage, sports massage, fascial and cranial aspects, acupressure and neuromuscular techniques are undertaken.
Extensive clinical practice is provided.
Graduates may then choose to further their knowledge by studying for a Graduate Certificate in Sports And Rehabilitation Therapy or a Graduate Certificate in Craniosacral Therapy.
