Graduate Certificate of Craniosacral Therapy (part-time)

Are you a qualified massage and body therapist, physiotherapist, osteopath, chiropractor or other health practitioner wishing to deepen your therapeutic and healing knowledge, whilst broadening the range of modalities you offer your clients?

Wellpark College will be introducing a (part -time) two year Graduate Certificate of Craniosacral Therapy beginning June 2012.

This unique and affordable Level 7 program, is conveniently structured to accommodate existing practitioners client schedules with internationally qualified and experienced practitioner-tutors in the calming environment of Kawai Purapura - retreat and residential village, Albany.

Craniosacral therapy recognises the fundamental unity of all structural,physiological, psychological and energetic processes within the human being. By gentle touch, listening with the hands, perception on all levels and a willingness to open into stillness, the therapist can gain insight into the core issues that create dysfunction and interfere with the path to wholeness.

The subtle rhythms that govern the body can be accessed through a number of methods and the student is given pathways to this exploration.

You will discover the underlying basis of the cranial concept, gain an insight into the fascial and cranial aspects of craniosacral therapy, perception and sense, fluid and membranes, dynamics of stillness, in addition to the anatomical, physiological and energetic basis of craniosacral theory.

Applicants to the Graduate Certificate of Craniosacral Therapy program will have a strong background in body therapies and the palpatory and perceptual skills that develop with this, as well as a good anatomical understanding.
