The Diploma of Ayurvedic Medicine was the first government-recognised Ayurvedic programme outside the Indian sub-continent and is acknowledged as one of the leading Ayurvedic practitioner training programmes in the western world.
It offers the student a comprehensive and integrated curriculum, combining Ayurvedic wisdom and understanding with modern medical science.
The first year follows the syllabus for the Diploma of Ayurvedic Lifestyle Management. In years two and three you will learn of the nature, character and qualities of Ayurvedic medicinal plants and their use for various conditions.
You will also gain an extensive knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology, Ayurvedic pathology, diagnosis, therapeutics and clinical medicine. Research techniques and extensive clinical practice is undertaken to establish your confidence before you become a qualified practitioner.
